The majority of the paintings in this section are from 2004 - 2005 and are mostly large scale ink and watercolour work. Since I began working in with Lino I haven’t made any new paintings but I do intend to do more in the future. Some of the paintings here were featured in the 2005 book ‘Concrete to Canvas: Skateboarders’ Art’.
I’ve only recently begun working with scraper board and am really enjoying experimenting with this medium. Its quicker than lino printing, but it produces a similar style of result and really lends itself to my designs. I’m currently working on some board graphics using this medium and will add photos of the artwork as they’re completed.
Since late 2005 I’ve been predominantly working in Lino printing. Cutting the blocks is a time consuming process, but i have been really happy with the results, and after the prints themselves are made I can then digitise the images and manipulate/add to them in Photoshop in order to produce board graphics etc. The prints themselves are made from blocks of Lino in either A3 or A2 in size. Most of the prints here are for sale, so if there is a particular one you’d like that isn’t up in the shop, then just email to enquire about availability.
I produce board graphics for UK companies A Third Foot and Death Skateboards and Consolidated Skateboards in the US. I also design boards for my skate shop Spine. Several of my lino prints have been converted in to graphics for these companies. I will update this section with new graphics as and when new ones are released. Some of the most recent boards will be available to buy. Please contact me for more details.
